Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was released December 4, 2012 by Ubisoft. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is a third person shooter.
There is nothing fair, honorable, or just about combat. There is only winning and losing—the dead and the living. The Ghosts don’t worry about even odds. They do everything in their power to overwhelm and obliterate the enemy. Future technology is the key to winning an asymmetric battle.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier changes from the older first person perspective to the third person view. Pulling the left trigger causes the over-the-shoulder view to zoom in, allowing for more precise aiming.
In Ghost Recon Future Soldier join an elite team of highly trained, cut-throat special-ops soldiers. Armed to the teeth with unrivalled combat technology and cutting-edge military hardware, Ghost Recon takes you to the globe’s most deadly warzones to hunt down the highest value targets.
When you’re outnumbered…Only the dead fight fair.
The gameplay has Cross Com and optical camouflage which provides some stealth capability. Tagging for support is also available. Cover is important and its well supported too.
Hand to hand action is one of the game’s more tactical features, where the player has to use stealth to sneak up on the enemy.
There are 12 missions in total with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. There are 8 locales which make for a more interesting session.
The game supports the typical 4 player coop seen in most military shooters. All of the campaign missions can be played coop.
The guerrilla mode is interesting, here you and your fellow Ghosts will face waves of enemies and utilize real-life techniques inspired by U.S. Army counter-insurgency experts.
The game also has 6v6 multiplayer for the team action some like.
