Mass Effect: Andromeda was released on March 21, 2017 by Electronic Arts. The game was developed by Bioware. Mass Effect: Andromeda is a third person action role-playing game.
The game also now has some gendered species which will go far towards a more diversified character mix.
Players are able to play as either a male or female human characters. Players will be able to pilot the reintroduced and customizable six-wheeled buggy-type vehicle, Nomad, to explore the new planets featured in the game.
The player’s ship will be called the Tempest. Moving through the ship will not trigger any loading screens which is part of a larger effort to make travelling through the galaxy feel seamless. Travelling to another planet is automatic — no worries about drifting around..
The game’s general story takes place 600 years after the events of the previous ones in the Andromeda galaxy.
The game is not open world but it does entail some exploration. The game features various planets for players to explore, with each having their own characteristics. The game also features a better dialogue tree, more choices, romantic relationships with companions, and cooperative multiplayer. Each planet has its own story which gives the game richer experience.
There’s a sense of physical depth not seen in previous Mass Effect games, which will be even more vivid thanks to HDR lighting on supporting platforms. Overall, it looks like a deeply well designed game.
The video is recorded on the new PS4 Pro, but eventually a PC version will be released.
